Bullying and Plastic Surgery - Teens Pressured Into Undergoing surgery


Bullying is a concern that schools and institutions find challenging to solve. Kids who have misplaced victims to bullies find ways to get out of the name-calling and plastic Surgery is among the options that most associated with consider. This attracts teens as young as 13 to go under the knife to dodge the taunts in the school yard.

In the country, statistics from the National Society of Plastic Surgeons indicate that there is about 219 000 Procedures done to teens in 2010. The age group is between 13 to 19 and also the reasons are usually for improving good looks to escape the bullies that attack them within schools. Peer pressure and the desire to fit in with everyone else seem for the reason that driving factors.
